We knew better. We ran the intervals anyway. So we built the coach we kept promising ourselves we'd listen to.

Every runner knows the rules. Easy days easy. Don't race your training. When something niggles, back off. We knew them too — and we still ran the hero week before the race, still turned a tight calf into six weeks off because the plan said intervals and the plan didn't know about the calf.

That's the gap Rayvik was built for. Not a smarter spreadsheet — a coach. One that reads your recovery before it asks for effort, that remembers what broke you last time, and that treats a rest day as a decision, not a failure. Generic plans don't fail because the science is wrong. They fail because they don't know you, and because nothing pushes back the morning you decide to be a hero.

So we're building the pushback. A coach that plans your season, adjusts it when life happens, and — on the days the numbers say no — says no. Precisely, honestly, and without a single motivational poster.
